Who operates this site
Palingen operates this website. For privacy questions, requests to access or correct information, deletion requests or complaints, email hello@palingen.com.au. Include the website name and enough information to locate your submission, but do not email passwords or printer access tokens. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information.
What happens when you consult the oracle
Your question is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate an answer. The question and answer, submission time and approximate city/country are placed in a private feed for the operator's physical receipt printer. The operator can read the question and answer. Do not include sensitive, confidential or identifying information about yourself or anyone else.
Why information is used
We use your question to provide the answer and run the printing experience. A hashed form of your IP address is used for request limits and abuse prevention. Hashing does not make this information anonymous.
Storage and retention
The application keeps the latest fifty consultations in its feed. They are displaced by later consultations rather than deleted after a fixed number of days. Rate-limit records expire after up to twenty-five hours, and short cooldown records after one hour. Physical printouts have no automatic deletion schedule; contact Palingen about a specific record.
Cookies and browser storage
The application does not use a cookie banner or require an application login to ask a question. Hosting and security services may process technical request information. Sending a question shares its text with the AI service; avoid including personal information in the question.
Hosting and service providers
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website and hosts its application data. Network requests expose technical information, including your IP address and browser details, to the hosting provider. Cloudflare operates a global network, so processing can occur outside Australia. Provider security logs and backups may have different retention periods from the application records described above. Your choices and requests
You can browse without submitting a message or question. Where a feature needs information to work, leaving it out may prevent that feature from being provided. Contact Palingen about access, correction, deletion or a privacy concern. We will consider the request and explain any limitations, including records already printed or shared with others.
